How I told you the other day, here are the pictures from Sant Pol de mar. Sant Pol is a small sea village, one hour by train from Barcelona city. If you're spending some days in Barcelona, and you need some relax days, this village is what you're looking for.
It is one of this few villages that the speculation of housing that were in the last 20 years, didn't damage to much. (mainly because the village is small, and the front see where still full of little fisher houses).
The weather is chillier than in Barcelona (I REALLY appreciate it !) so there is not this sultriness (You will need a rebeca in the evening.)
It is place to spend time with friends, or with a good book, as there are not to much things to do.

Sant Pol is one hour by train from Barcelona. You can go also by car or bus, but I really advice going by train, as you won't have problems to park the car, or with the roads. Moreover, the train goes along the sea, so it is a beautiful view.
If you're comming from Barcelona, you can take this train that is the line R1 (direction Maçanet-Maçanes or Blanes) in the next stations: Sants Estació, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de triomf, and Clot-Aragó. You can see the train schedules in the Renfe web. You 've to put both stations you are looking for ( some of the bellow mentioned and Sant Pol de mar) and then also the day you're going to. On sundays or bank holidays there're less trains. The ticket will cost about 4,30 euro (8,5euro round trip).
